SMU Women's Soccer | FAQ
All camps will be held on the beautiful campus of Southern Methodist University.
Typically we cannot allow early check due to efficient supervision and residential move in (for residential and college prep camps) needs. If there are certain circumstances that will not allow you to be at registration then please contact Eve Petrucelli to discuss options.
Yes, but please communicate with Eve Petrucelli to set up a check in time and process.
We do our best to accommodate both this scenario and dorm requests. Both parties need to agree on the roommate situation. Please do not request someone when registering online unless both parties have agreed ahead of time. We cannot make any guarantees on roommates, but certainly want the campers to have the best possible experience and we realize that is typically along side their friends!
All meals and essential items are provided at overnight camp. However, if you would like to take advantage of the camp store (open during down time and at night) where you can buy drinks, snacks, pizza, etc. you should bring additional money.
Pair of soccer cleats, pair of flat shoes (one of the fields is a turf field if you want to bring turf shoes, but it's not necessary), shin guards, soccer socks, athletic shorts and shirts for each day, bed linens, towels, pillow, alarm clock, personal items/toiletries, sunscreen, goalkeeper gloves (goalkeepers only), a soccer ball if you choose not to purchase one, and a great attitude! This is also listed under the "Info" tab on the home page.
The campers have 24 hour supervision. There are coaches on each floor and an athletic trainer always on call in case of emergency. The university also has hall managers at the front desk and campus police always on call.
Yes, please refer to the 'Info' tab for full information.
Absolutely, parents are always welcome to watch!
Parent's are welcome to come visit campers during down times in the lobby of the dorms, with the exception of move in and move out (and of course emergency/illness situations). We prefer for staff and campers to be the only people on the floors of the dorms. This ensures the safety of the campers.
At that point, refunds can not be assessed due to the fact that accomodations (dorms), coaches, and meals are paid for in advance.
